It’s a big game for the hot-and-cold Tigers, as a win here would see their slim finals chances stay alive.

They lost to the Dragons last weekend, despite hammering the Bulldogs the weekend prior. They would need that pattern to continue to have any chance against a quality Storm outfit tonight.

CATCH UP ON THE LATEST NRL HIGHLIGHTS

The Storm are in the eight, and a win tonight would see them jump a game clear of ninth spot. If they manage a convincing win, they could finish the round a very respectable 5th on the ladder.

30-8 winners over the Broncos last weekend, the Storm are a team that seems to be hitting its straps at the right time of the year. They experienced a rough patch during the State of Origin period, but with all their big guns back and charging, they look a lot more like the Storm side we have known in recent seasons.

The Storm will be confident they can pull off a big win tonight and really build a strong case for contention as we get towards the pointy end of the season.

The Tigers has no changes to the 17 that went down to the Dragons last weekend, while the Storm have added Kurt Mann and Dayne Weston to an extended bench.

Prediction
If the “Big Three” for the Storm fire tonight, they’ll have no issues winning this game.

Having said that, there’s something about the Tigers this year against the better sides in the comp. They’ve already smashed Manly and Canterbury, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see them get over the top of the Storm in this one.

If Robbie Farah can focus, and get his Tigers to focus also, we could be in for a hotly contested match.

Tigers by 8.
