Sportswriters Brett McKay and Ryan O’Connell are arguing about who left who in a North Sydney pub in Episode 49 of the Cheap Seats podcast.

In this episode, Ryan is crowing about getting a ‘bricks and mortar’ tip correct, while Brett is unconcerned about the finances of Indian cricket.

Episode 49 talking points:
– #AskTheCheapSeats: what to do with Wests Tigers, are Freo back, and what of Kurtley Beale and the Wallabies after the draw in Sydney?;
– Rugby: No wholesales changes needed for the Wallabies before Bledisloe 2, and Australia’s new rugby comp, the NRC, kicks off this week;
– NRL: BallboyGate continues down the wrong path, Wests Tigers are still rubbish, and the Canberra Raiders aren’t much better;
– AFL: Fremantle’s statement win, Collingwood’s injury crisis, GWS’ costly win (for Ryan’s tipping success, as much as injuries), and Paul Roos unloads on his Demons players;
– Cricket: England destroy India, and Phil Hughes is in the runs;
– Brett’s tweet of the week and Ryan’s bricks-and-mortar certainty for the coming weekend.
