Fremantle made it very interesting with two quick goals to start the final quarter, but the Swans were just too good today. A 24-point victory for the Swans, who appear to have at least a couple of fingers on the premiership cup.
Fremantle were very good for long stretches of this game, but you have to ask whether they have enough firepower to seriously contend this year.
Buddy Franklin was the match winner in the final quarter for the Swans, kicking two brilliant goals that really held the Dockers at bay.
So the Swans get the home preliminary final (most likely against the Cats), while the Dockers have to go home to fend off the winner of the Power/Tigers game.
FINAL SCORE:
Sydney 13.15 (93)
Fremantle 10.9 (69)

The Swans faltered last week against the Tigers, but they still did enough to make sure they took home the minor Ppremiership.
With 17 wins for the season, they look set to make another deep run into September.

Fremantle didn’t guarantee their top 4 position until last weekend against Port Adelaide, but they looked very impressive doing it.
After the disappointment of a grand final loss last year, the Dockers will be looking for a big win to kick start another finals campaign.
The Swans have made five changes for this weekend, and they welcome back some big names.
Josh Kennedy returns from a problem hamstring that has kept him out since Round 21, while Lance Franklin has shaken off the knee soreness that kept him out against Richmond.
Mike Pyke, Ben McGlynn and Craig Bird also return for the Swans. Making way for the aforementioned are Shane Biggs, Dean Towers, Tom Mitchell, Sam Naismith and Zak Jones.
The Dockers have a massive in for this clash, but they have an equally massive out to deal with.
Nathan Fyfe returns from his two week ban, and will add some more class to an already strong midfield. Alex Silvagni and Jonathon Griffin will also lace up the boots for the Dockers this weekend.
Coming out for the Dockers is Michael Johnson, who suffered a season-ending injury last weekend against the Power, Hayden Crozier and Nick Suban.
Prediction
This would have been a hard game to predict if both teams were completely healthy, but I personally think the loss of Michael Johnson will impact the Dockers more than their fans would like to admit.
The Dockers may find themselves a little short against the tall timber the Swans have up forward, and I think that will be the difference between the two sides.
