2015 AFL NAB Challenge fixture announced

28th October, 2014
2

The fixture for the 2015 AFL NAB Challenge, has been released with the tournament kicking off on Thursday February 26 to Sunday March 22.

The format of the preseason competition has been a point of experiment in recent seasons, with the tournament trialling shortened round-robin fixtures as well as consecutive games running every night of the week.

The 2015 competition has returned to a more traditional format, while maintaining a focus on getting teams out to regional and suburban grounds.

However, each round will feature a Thursday night match in addition to regular time slots.

Foxtel remains the sole broadcast holder for the tournament, with all but six games to be broadcast live.

Time clashes on the Saturday and Sunday for the opening three weeks of competition mean only the latter of the two scheduled games will be broadcast live.

Every team will play three games across the span of the four weekends of competition, with each side playing once on the final weekend.

The fourth weekend gifts fans a weekend of back-to-back matches with a double header on Friday, followed by triple headers on the Saturday and Sunday.
