Perhaps the fastest man ever to rise to superstar status in the UFC, ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor (17-2) proved once again he wasn’t just all talk when he ripped through Dennis Siver (22-10, 1NC) in just over two rounds.

The Irishman physically dissected Siver for a full round, before putting on the finishing touches early in the second round to earn a TKO victory.

UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo witnessed McGregor’s victory first hand, with front row seats for the fight. Aldo had also brought a poster of McGregor to Boston to show his ‘support’ for the Irishman, which depicted him wearing a jokers hat.

However, it was his post-fight antics that has everybody talking.

After his impressive finish over Siver, the Irishman jumped the fence of the octagon before running into the crowd and coming face-to-face with the current UFC Featherweight Champion, Jose Aldo Jr. (25-1).

It was a one-sided exchange, with Conor McGregor screaming at Jose Aldo while the champion just looked on and laughed, seeming disinterested with what McGregor had to say.

McGregor was eventually forced to return to the octagon, where he told the current champion to “f**k off”. Aldo was invited into the octagon, however declined, due to “superstition” according to UFC president Dana White at the press conference.

Jose Aldo was interviewed shortly after regarding the incident, and claimed he was “not impressed” by McGregor and vowed to keep his belt after the two lock horns.

Conor McGregor continued on his verbal assault at the post-fight press conference, claiming to finish “the skinny Brazilian” Jose Aldo.

“One more head will be collected” he said, before going on to say, “He will be next one to learn that’s not all talk.”

Despite discussing a stadium event either in Ireland or Brazil, the UFC has reportedly decided that the championship bout between Aldo and McGregor will be held in Las Vegas, in what has been called a “business decision”. The fight is expected to take place later this year.

Aldo vs McGregor could potentially be dubbed the biggest title fight in the history of the featherweight division, and maybe even the UFC. Either way, it is sure to be the most financially viable event the UFC has ever hosted, and will equate for a big day for both Aldo and McGregor.
