Australian teenager Nick Kyrgios comes up against unheralded Tunisian Malek Jaziri in the third round of the 2015 Australian Open. Join The Roar for live scores of the match, and feel free to have your say in the comments section below.

Kyrgios, currently ranked 53rd in the world, takes on the 75th ranked player in a third round match he will be largely favoured to win.

With a home crowd behind him and his game in good order, the 19-year-old will be out to prove himself on home soil.

He has copped a bit of heat after an interview he did following his victory in the second round over 23rd seed Ivo Karlovic, but will look to respond positively on the court. It was a minor slip up from a young man, but Kyrgios did draw heat on Twitter and from Australian tennis legends Pat Rafter and Fred Stolle for some remarks made after the game.

On the court, Kyrgios is looking the goods.

His serve is looking powerful, and his ground strokes have been hitting the target. To defeat Ivo Karlovic is no mean feat, and his returning was one of the highlights of his play on Wednesday.

Jaziri is a tour journeyman, but has only competed in Slams since 2011, and will be looking to book a date in the fourth round of a major for the first time in his career. This is his debut appearance in the third round of a major, so it’s all uncharted territory for him from here.

There is little history between the two players to go on, with Kyrgios the victor in the only match the two players have contested, back in 2013.

He will look to continue that streak of one and book a date with what is likely to be Roger Federer in the fourth round.
