The UFC makes its way to Stockholm, Sweden for this number one contenders bout, with home-town hero #1 Alexander ‘The Mauler’ Gustafsson taking on #3 Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson. Join us on The Roar from 8am (AEDT) for live commentary and results.

When Alexander Gustafsson (16-2) took on UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon ‘Bones’ Jones (20-1) back in September of 2013, it was hailed as the greatest title fight in the history of the UFC’s Light Heavyweight division.

It was also a fight that many people argue to this day Gustafsson won. Now he has a chance to get another shot at Jones’ title.

Standing in his way is Anthony Johnson (18-4). Currently on an eight-fight winning streak, the man known as ‘Rumble’ returned to the UFC with a dominant performance over then-title contender Phil ‘Mr Wonderful’ Davis (13-2, 1NC). He then went on to earn himself a performance of the night bonus after a stunning 44-second knock-out of Antônio Rogério Nogueira (21-6) in July last year.

In the co-main event MMA legend Dan ‘Hendo’ Henderson (30-12) will take on a determined #8 Gegard Mousasi (35-5-2) as both fighters enter the Tele2 arena with something to prove.

Having lost four of his past five bouts, Dan Henderson will be looking to silence any critics who believe that the 44-year-old veteran should retire. Henderson will be looking to prove that he still has what it takes to defeat elite middleweights, and a win over a fighter such as Gegard Mousasi would do just that.

Former Strikeforce champion Gegard Mousasi will be hoping to fight his way back into title contention after a disappointing performance against Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza (21-3, 1NC) in his last outing. The man who fights out of the Netherlands will be looking to send a message to Henderson, and prove that he should still be considered a threat to all who compete in the UFC’s 185 and 205 pound divisions.

Who will face Jon Jones next for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, Alexander Gustafsson or Anthony Johnson? Join us on The Roar from 8am (AEDT) to find out.
