Sportswriters Brett McKay and Ryan O’Connell are coming down from a beer and pretzel Super Bowl high in Episode 60 of the Cheap Seats podcast.

More cracking #AskTheCheapSeats questions on topics including Super Rugby pre-season preps, the WACA pitch, dating Scarlett Johansson, and Steve Smith’s likely batting spot for the future.

The boys wrapp up the one-day Tri-Series, after Australia’s thumping of England in the Final in Perth last weekend, as well as getting into the what Australia’s best ODI XI is, and the injury conundrum around James Faulkner.

There’s also Australian Open tennis, the token football wrap on the Socceroos’ Asian Cup triumph, the Auckland 9s, the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl win, and Ryan’s absence due to celebrating it, which the reason this episode is days late.

Plus the launch of the Cheap Seats Tipping League on footytips.com.au – get on board now and knock Captain Confidence O’Connell down a peg or two.
