Good morning Roarers and welcome to the first of the South African double header this Sunday morning as the Stormers host the Blues from Newlands in Capetown. You can follow live scores and coverage of this match from 2:05am (AEDT).

Both teams arrive for this game after vastly different first-round performances.

THE LATEST SUPER RUGBY VIDEOS

The Stormers play at home in Capetown for the first time in 2015 full of confidence after dispatching their arch rivals the Bulls in Pretoria.

This win was built on a tremendous forward effort, outmatching their opponents at the breakdown and set piece, and the dynamic centre pairing of Damian de Allende and Juan de Jongh creating mayhem.

The Blues, in stark contrast have started the 2015 season with a stutter, losing to an undermanned Chiefs team at home before making the trip to South Africa.

For the most part, the Blues were masters of their own downfall, unable to string phases together with a high number of handling errors in a largely disjointed display. Coach John Kirwan will certainly be looking for his team to execute accurately this week and improve their on-field decision making.

The talent is certainly there for the Blues, an exciting backline with plenty of firepower out wide and a highly experienced forward pack punctuated with a number of All Blacks are certainly capable of holding their own against this Stormers team. If the Stormers are off their game, the Blues will be sure to take advantage.

For the Stormers, it is simply more of the same. With Duane Vermuelen leading the way and the ever increasing maturity of Dimitri Catrakilis guiding the team around the park, the Stormers will be more than a handful playing at their beloved Newlands.
