It’s third against sixth as Sydney FC welcome Brisbane Roar to Allianz Stadium in Round 21 of the A-League. Join The Roar for live coverage from 5pm (AEDT).

The Roar managed to leapfrog Melbourne City into the valuable sixth finals spot with their 1-0 victory over Western Sydney Wanderers last weekend. They will hope to continue in the same vein of form against the other Sydney side in the competition.

Sydney meanwhile will be hoping to extend their impressive nine-game unbeaten streak, which began with a 0-0 draw against today’s opponents at Suncorp Stadium on December 30, 2014.

The player to watch for the Sky Blues is star import Marc Janko. The Austrian national team captain is currently atop the A-League’s scoring chart, having already netted 13 times. However he is ably supported by skipper Alex Brosque, Shane Smeltz and Bernie Ibini in the quest for goal.

Down the other end, Brisbane boast an impressive attacking trio of Henrique, Jean Carlos Solorzano and Brandon Borrello, who has scored the winner in both of the club’s most recent fixtures.

In squad news, Sydney FC welcome back Alex Gersbach and Mickael Tavares from suspension, while Jacques Faty returns from injury.

The Roar welcome back Corey Brown from suspension and have promoted Adam Sarota and Shannon Brady to the first team. Meanwhile, Luke Brattan misses the match through suspension following his fifth booking of the season at the weekend.

Prediction
Sydney FC 2-0 Brisbane Roar
