Happy to take on a few here including Sacred Falls who needs more ground, Weary, I’m Imposing, Burbero, Moriarty and Royal Descent.
Shooting to Win comes in with some solid form around Hallowed Crown and Sweynesse, is unbeaten at the distance and at $4.80 isn’t all that short in the market.
Kermadec should’ve won the Australian Guineas but just didn’t get into it. Will come home strongly and $5.50 could be some good value with Ryan Moore aboard.
Cosmic Endeavour was great last time out but hasn’t had a start at the distance $5 seems a fair quote for mine.
Hooked for mine needs some more distance and will be needing the ground to win, but could finish in the top four.
James McDonald picks up the ride on Real Impact who comes off a great win in the Hanshin Cup. $11 seems a good value price, especially for a last start winner of quality.
World Ace was fourth last start, and the form is patchy but you can’t underestimate the Japanese.
Criterion didn’t finish too far behind Cosmic Endeavour and has a good second up record, gets a little more ground here which could help and a $10 quote is handy.
Brent Ford selections:
1. Kermadec 2. Shooting to Win 3. Real Impact 4. Cosmic Endeavour
