Why does every NRL supporter give up on the Dragons? In 2010, the Storm went through their darkest days with the salary cap.

Only this year, the Titans went through their cocaine scandal. But everyone supported them and helped them become a force again.

But why aren’t the fans giving the big Red V any hope or support? In 2010 the Dragons became the premiers. Peter Doust was seen as the NRL’s best CEO for bringing in Wayne Bennett. Other NRL fans respected them and believed that they were the best team in the NRL.

Every team goes through the bad times and the Dragons are experiencing it right now. But if you ask me, the worst is over. The campaign SOS will not last long.

The players are over the Instagram, Facebook and Twitter hashtags of SOS and the only way to show that they are OK is to win and to win with a large margin.

As a Saints supporter, I am saying it may take two years for the team to find their feet.

The Rabbits did it so why can’t the boys from Wollongong? But there is one problem, why is Peter Doust giving Merrin away? In the past five years, the Dragons have lost former NSW five-eighth Jamie Soward, Brett Morris – who is playing better than ever – and now Trent Merrin!

The Dragons brought George Rose this season. No offense, to Big George but why give in to buy big George and not put that cash towards giving Merrin or Morris an extension?

I am nowhere convinced that the fans should be waving flags expressing ‘Oust Doust’ at games. They should offer support and ideas to help the club advance in the future.

If you support the Dragons, don’t be a fair weather fan!
