English Premier League giants Chelsea will visit Australia in June and face Sydney FC in a friendly at ANZ Stadium, it has been confirmed.

Stars of the likely EPL champions including Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard will headline the side captained by John Terry and managed by Jose Mourinho for the match against Graham Arnold’s team on June 2.

It will make a massive week for Sydney FC fans, with the side also playing Tottenham at ANZ days earlier on May 30.

Both sides will enter the match with strong form from their respective domestic competitions.

Sydney FC tied up second spot on the A-league ladder on the weekend, earning themselves a week off in the first week of the finals following a strong 2-1 away win against Wellington Phoenix.

Chelsea are expected to wrap up the Premier League title in the coming round, after being unable to put the crown mathematically out of reach of the nearest contender, Manchester City, following a nil-all draw against Arsenal on Monday morning.
