Eden Hazard has won the English Premier League player of the year and he is still continuing to grow as a threatening presence with Chelsea.

The Blues are almost certain to win the league and Hazard has been in constant form the entire campaign. This is a fitting reward for his potential and current talent.

Chelsea and Eden Hazard under Jose Mourinho have evolved so much since his return, and Chelsea are now clear on top. With a title all but wrapped up for Chelsea this year Jose Mourinho will be looking forward to next season.

Jose Mourinho is fully accredited with copious titles and wins for teams that he coaches and has relished the performances of Eden Hazard this season. He has been nominated for several years prior to this win for the player of the year award but always managed to just fall short.

This time he finally claimed the prestigious gong.

Eden Hazard is going to be a target for many clubs and rightfully so with his genuine, hardworking drive paying off on the field. It has now come time for other clubs to notice this and act on it as quickly as possible.

The team relies on Hazard to see the ball brought up to the attacking final third and then set up his teammates for goals. On many occasions the team has relied on his flair and dribbling ability to beat the opponent and go for goal himself.

This is no drama for the winger as he has now scored on 18 different occasions for the Blues and looks likely to keep scoring more and more as his ability gets better and better.
