Week 2 of the 2015 A-League finals sees Adelaide United travel to Sydney to face the Sky Blues at Allianz Stadium and Melbourne-based rivals City and Victory square-off at Docklands.

After securing a stunning 2-0 upset win against the Phoenix in Wellington, Melbourne City have set up an enticing all-Melbourne final on Friday night.

Victory have got the better of the rivalry this season, winning two of their three encounters, scoring eight goals to three along the way.

After securing the Premiers Plate, Victory are strongly tipped to move into the Grand Final on May 17, however with some momentum on their side, City will be sure to make Victory earn their progression.

On Saturday evening, the Sky Blues vs Reds match is poised to be a thrilling contest. Adelaide will arrive coming off a confident win against Brisbane, and with the knowledge that they have beaten their opponent twice this season in Sydney and haven’t lost to them since February 2013.

United have proven to be somewhat of a bogey team for the Sky Blues, especially during the 2014/15 A-League season, as they have failed to score a single goal throughout three matches. This record is quite astonishing when you consider Sydney have scored the second most goals this season and have the League’s leading scorer, Marc Janko (16) up front.

Can the Reds and Victory continue their dominance against their opponents when a place in the Grand Final is on the line?
