Sportswriters Brett McKay and Ryan O’Connell are feeling let down by the England selectors in Episode 73 of the Cheap Seats podcast.

A massive #AskTheCheapSeats, mainly due to missing last week, with questions on all manner of things. Kevin Pietersen’s England dream being snuffed out is the major talking point, with interesting perspectives on both sides of the argument.

ATCS also sees questions on international vs State of Origin rugby league, the Hurricanes, Rugby World Cup bolters, pelicans, golfer Ricky Fowler’s mega-hot girlfriend, #DeflateGate, and Ryan names our NSW and Queensland sides of Game 1.

In the NRL, the re-emergence of Souths and the form of the Warriors are covered, plus there’s another edition of ‘Who’s this week’s premiership favourite?’

Super Rugby saw some major table movement over the weekend, while in the AFL it’s all about Greater Western Sydney. Sports shorts include the A-League grand final, England to be coached by an Aussie this Ashes series, and NBA playoff buzzer-beaters.

Plus there’s a wrap up of the Cheap Seats tipping league, which you can still join.

Get us on Twitter at @CheapSeatsPod and get your questions in for next week using the tag #AskTheCheapSeats. And stay cheap!
