The last round of the English Premier League and it’s do or die for the teams at the bottom of the table. So who’s going down? Who will we greet next season? Let’s jump straight into it.

Stoke City versus Liverpool
After a boring 0-0 draw with relegated Burnley, Stoke would like to cap off a very successful season, which sees them finish ninth. Liverpool’s spot in the Europa league is not certain without points away to Stoke, if Spurs defeat Everton and Southampton beat City they’d find themselves back where they started.

Can the Reds save something from their season?

Prediction: Stoke City 2-2 Liverpool

Arsenal versus West Bromwich Albion
West Brom got themselves a shock 3-0 win against champions Chelsea, Saido Berahino scoring two goals to bring his tally up to fourteen this season. They showed great passing and quick attacking play to break down the Chelsea defence, and were assisted by a shock red card to Cesc Fabregas. Arsenal have already finished third this season after a 0-0 stalemate with Sunderland midweek.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 West Bromwich Albion

Aston Villa versus Burnley
Nothing positive can be taken from Villa’s 6-1 humiliation last week at the hands of a rampant Southampton. Although their 1-0 win against West Ham a few weeks ago seems it’s enough for Villa to stay in the Premier League next season. Burnley were officially relegated after their 1-0 loss to West Ham in Round 35, they finished second last with 30 points.

Prediction: Villa 3-0 Burnley

Chelsea versus Sunderland
The now safe Black Cats travel to Stamford Bridge in their final game of the season, after a 0-0 draw against Arsenal secured survival for the season. Dick Advocaat’s position is still under scrutiny after their draw, and little is known of his future at the club.

Chelsea will look to finish with a win after their embarrassing 3-0 loss to West Brom. Reports Izzy Brown and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will be in the squad again. Can the Black Cats leave a gash? or will the Blues hold strong?

Prediction: Chelsea 3-0 Sunderland

Crystal Palace versus Swansea City
The Swans head to Selhurst Park this week as they face Crystal Palace in their final match of the season. Swansea unfortunately fell short of a win as they went down 4-2 to Manchester City, as we saw former Swans striker Wilfried Bony score the delightful fourth goal against them.

Palace could snatch a win in my books, three points could just put them in the top half of the table into 10th, their highest finish in Premier League history since last year where they snatched 11th spot. They grabbed an incredible 3-2 win against Liverpool and look good to impress again

Prediction: Palace 3-2 Swansea

Everton versus Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham cut Hull City at the knees last week, putting them in danger of relegation with a 2-0 win. Belgian Nacer Chadli and Englishman Danny Rose were among the scorers. Tottenham will be desperately searching for a win to claim Europa League next season.

Everton would want to cap off a rather disappointing season with at least a top half finish. which is looking tight with Palace and West Ham. They grabbed an important 1-2 win away to the Hammers last week, record signing Romelu Lukaku scoring his 20th goal in all competitions this season, his ninth in the league.

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Spurs

Hull City versus Manchester United
It’s do or die for Hull City who need no less than three points to stay alive, even then it may not be enough depending on the Newcastle result. Going down 2-0 to Spurs last week, and no win in three weeks, I think it might be time for the Tigers to die out. Manchester United go into this result with Champions League qualification in the bag, a deserved season for Louis Van Gaal.

Prediction: Hull City 0-2 Manchester United

Leicester City versus QPR
Leicester are staying. They claimed Premier League football for next season with 38 points and after a good run of form at the back end of year, surprised many and ended up in 14th place. There is no way they can be relegated but they can drop as low as 17th.

QPR, who were sent down after a 6-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City, recently managed to sink the survival hopes of Newcastle by defeating the Magpies 2-1 at home. Are the Foxes back? Will they finish on a high?

Prediction: Leicester 2-1 QPR

Manchester City versus Southampton
A lot on the line for Southampton, as they are fighting for a spot in Europe. They look like they just might get it after their 6-1 thrashing of Villa last week, but Manchester City are no easy feat. We saw the hat-trick record broken by Sadio Mane in just two minutes and 56 seconds, and he is a big danger for City.

The Citizens are set for a second place spot, and their 4-2 win against Swansea shows it will be a tough match ahead. Ashley Williams and Jordi Amat will have to be careful of the pace of top goalscorer Sergio Aguero and David Silva.

Prediction: Man City 1-2 Southampton

Newcastle versus West Ham
Neither of these teams got wins last week and with relegation looming above the heads of Newcastle United will they crumble under the pressure? West Ham were unlucky to concede an 89th minute winner at the hands of Everton at home last week, and will want to get back into the top half of the table. Newcastle suffered an embarrassing 2-1 loss to relegated QPR and could go down with them this week.

Prediction: Newcastle United 1-1 West Ham

That’s my preview and predictions for the final round of the Premier League. In my opinion I think it will be Hull to be relegated, Man United away is much tougher than West Ham at home and I think Newcastle have the better draw this week.

Well then the season will be over soon. Bring on the FA Cup and more importantly the UEFA Champions League final.
