Twenty-five-yea-old Morgan Schneiderlin has been on many different clubs’ radar for quite some time now and it seems this July will see his exit from Southampton.

Schneiderlin has featured as one of Southampton’s best players throughout his seven years at the club which explains why Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal are in contention for Morgan’s signature.

“The negotiations are ongoing and should be completed in the coming days, hopefully before the resumption of [Southampton’s pre-season] training next week,” Schneiderlin said.

It is rumored that Southampton are saying that there is a $24 million price tag for the French international.

You would expect Tottenham to be leading the chase for the central defensive midfielder considering Spurs were extremely close to signing him this exact time last year. It was the decision of Southampton to keep Schneiderlin due to the Saints losing too many key players.

Morgan Schneiderlin wanted the move and wrote a controversial comment on Twitter:

It seems silly for Manchester United to bid for Schneiderlin considering the amount of money they have and besides, Schneiderlin does not fit the attacking playing style of United. Schneiderlin plays a slow build-up game which is the opposite of a fast counter attack.

Arsenal have been trying to land the Southampton star for some time now and the reasons why are clear. There could be a deadly combination between uprising Frenchman Francis Coquelin and Morgan Schneiderlin.

And we all know how much Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger loves to import French players to the club, with Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud currently on the Gunners’ books.

Which club is the best for Schneiderlin?
