Sixth seed Thomas Berdych looks to continue his complete dominance over Nicolas Mahut when they clash in the second round of Wimbledon 2015. Join The Roar for live scores of this match up from 12am (AEST) following the Radwanska versus Tomljanovic match.

Berdych has been in average form in the lead up to Wimbledon and this is highlighted by a first round match in which he struggled to get any real sense of dominance, eventually defeating Jeremy Chardy in four sets, three of them ending in tiebreakers.

Losing to the likes of Ivo Karlovic in the lead up is not exactly highlighting great form.

Mahut meanwhile, also took four sets to win his first round game, which he played against Filip Krajinovic. Winning 7-6, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 wasn’t a bad performance from Mahut and it backs up some scintillating form leading into The Championships.

After qualifying for a tournament in Hertogenbosch he then went all the way to win the tournament after defeating Lleyton Hewitt, Adrian Mannarino, Robin Haase and finally David Goffin. Between three qualifying games and five main draw games he only dropped two sets.

Mahut is in good form and will be confident, but he struggles against Berdych.

Mahut made his Wimbledon debut in 2006, Berdych in 2004 and their careers have gone in opposite direction at Wimbledon. Mahut’s best performance is a third round exit on his debut, since then he hasn’t got out of the second round.

Berdych meanwhile has had a runner up and a quarter final performance and will be keen to finally go all the way this year.

Berdych and Mahut have matched up on five occasions before, however never at Wimbledon and only once in a Grand Slam. Their Grand Slam match-up came in 2004 at the Australian Open with Berdych winning in four sets.

That is the only set Berdych has ever dropped to Mahut, as he has won all the others in straight sets.

Their last meeting was early last year in Rotterdam with Berdych winning 6-4, 6-3.

Prediction:
Everything is pointing to a Berdych win in this second round match against Mahut. Whilst Mahut’s form has been good it is hard to work out how he can even win a set, let alone the match.

Berdych in straight sets.
