A really good story providing revealing insight into what McKinnon and his family went through at the time and now, 15 months on, has been quickly hijacked by the portrayal of Melbourne Storm captain Cameron Smith in the report.
The story is now less about McKinnon and more about Smith, and in our humble opinions, Channel Nine and 60 Minutes have some questions to answer.
