It’s quarter finals time at the All England Club as the top seed Novak Djokovic prepares the face the Croatian Marin Cilic in an intriguing match-up on Centre Court. Join The Roar for live scores from 12:00am (AEST).

Novak Djokovic had to battle through his fourth round match against Kevin Anderson in peculiar circumstances. After two tight first sets, the Serb found himself two-sets to love down against the big serving South African after losing two tie-breakers.

However in the third and fourth sets he lifted his game to level the match at two-sets a piece, before returning yesterday to grind out the fifth set 7-5 in a match that lasted nearly four hours.

Until this match Djokovic looked ominous with crushing victories over Jarkko Nieminen and Bernard Tomic in the second and third rounds respectively.

On the other hand Marin Cilic made it to the quarter finals of Wimbledon with a four set victory over the American, Denis Kudla, in the Round of 16. His biggest challenge of the tournament came against John Isner in the third round winning 12-10 in a very tight five-set match with just two breaks of serve across the five sets.

His second round match against Richard Berankis also went the full journey, with the Croatian victorious 7-5 in the fifth set.

Consequently, the Serb and the Croatian meet for their 13th battle tonight, just like they did last year when the Serb won in five sets.

Although tonight is a totally different proposition all together.

Cilic and Djokovic have both been severely tested throughout stages of this 2015 Championship, which leads me to believe that this game should see the very best tennis out of both players.

Cilic will have the advantage of an extra day’s break over his opponent, however with Djokovic’s head-to-head record standing at 12-0 against the Croat we can expect the Djoker to get the job done again tonight.

Prediction:
Djokovic in 4 sets.
