Female UFC fighter, Ronda Rousey, claimed ESPN’s ESPY award for ‘Best Fighter’ on Wednesday night, beating out boxer Floyd Mayweather.

Upon claiming the award, the face of female MMA had some strong words ready to fire at the world’s highest paid athlete.

“I wonder how Floyd feels getting beat by a woman for once,” Rousey stated as she was interviewed live on-air after accepting the award.

The remark a direct stab at Mayweather’s long history of domestic violence.

Rousey followed up the comment saying: “I’d like to see you pretend to know who I am now.”

Rousey beat out fellow UFC nominee Donald Cerrone, along with boxers Terence Crawford, Gennady Golovkin and Mayweather.
