If NRL tipping was easy, nobody would do it.

And so, our Roar NRL expert tipsters continue their journey across the sacred lands toward Tipopia.

Their next quest will see them confront new dangers and they begin on Friday as they meet the mighty purple army of Melbourne who are feasting on seven days of celebration for their great leader, the all-conquering Cam Smith.

The mortal combat continues in Sydney with age-old foes Parramatta and Canterbury meeting once more, as will the Dragons and the Rabbitohs who will clash at the Sydney Cricket Ground where ghosts of legends still tackle and scratch for every inch.

In the Hunter, the Knights and Titans will collide while Cronulla must travel to the freeze of Canberra for a showdown with Blake Austin’s green machine.

On the seventh day, Warriors invade Bondi, as will the Tigers in Brisbane.

And then on Monday, a snake and his eagles face a cowboy wizard named JT.

Good luck in your tipping and may it bring you a perfect round.

Mary Konstantopoulos
Tips: Bulldogs, Storm, Raiders, Knights, Rabbitohs, Roosters, Broncos (Powerplay), Cowboys.

“The Eels are at home but I am tipping the Bulldogs to win as they will be too powerful in the forwards. The Storm at home and Cam Smith’s 300th game should see them edge out the Panthers, who are slowly getting their season back together.

“I am tipping the Raiders to have too much attacking power at home versus the Sharks. The Knights versus the Titans is shaping up to be a match for the wooden spoon and I am tipping the Knights simply because of home ground advantage. The Dragons are on the downward spiral and I am tipping the Rabbits to bounce them down even further.

“The Roosters versus the Warriors is shaping up as match of the round. I am tipping the Roosters to win and be one of the only teams currently able to nullify the superb form of Shaun Johnson. The Broncos will simply flog the stripes of the Tigers.

“Finally I am tipping the Johnathan Thurston-led Cowboys to overcome the Brookvale graveyard and beat the Sea Eagles.”

Tips: Bulldogs, Storm, Raiders, Titans, Rabbitohs (Powerplay), Warriors, Broncos, Cowboys.

“We wind back the clock for Heritage Round, with an 80s flashback of the Dogs versus Parra. Which the Dogs will win, because Eels are nowhere. Storm will beat a down-and-out Penrith.

“The Blake Austin Show continues and will see the Raiders beat the Sharks in what should be a good game, actually.

The Bunnies will pull a suddenly hapless Dragons. I predict the Warriors will win against the Chooks, which I’m hoping some people won’t be picking.

As for Broncos versus Tigers, and Cowboys versus Sea Eagles? Please…”

Tips: Bulldogs, Storm, Raiders, Knights, Rabbitohs, Roosters, Broncos (Powerplay), Eagles.

“A full and unadulterated round of footy awaits us in Round 19, which means one thing: the opportunity to make a higher number of incorrect selections. So let’s get erroneous.

“Let’s begin with Friday night. Even though Parramatta are still paying me for three days work I did in the Chinese restaurant in 1997, I can’t take them against the Dogs.

“Then on Saturday afternoon, I’m backing a tip-top affair of brute masculinity in Canberra. I’ll take the Raiders at their ski lodge, but frankly, I won’t really be caring what happens as long as I see Gal and The Pap target each other’s vital organs. Board up your windows for that one.

“Then on Sunday, I will be fearing for the product. Suncorp could be witness to another score of Keno jackpot proportions when the Broncos host the Tigers. No prizes for guessing who’s running up the jackpot here.”

Tim Gore
Tips: Bulldogs, Storm, Raiders, Knights, Rabbitohs, Roosters, Broncos (Powerplay), Eagles.

“Bulldogs won’t lose two in a row like that and it will be the poor old Eels who will suffer for it while the Storm will strangle the Panthers out of the match and win by a couple.

“How will the Raiders go without Sam Williams? He has been so integral. I’m going Raiders because their defence of late has been very good.

“Greg Bird is back but it won’t be enough for the Titans to beat a Knights side desperate for victory and Rabbitohs to beat the Dragons on the back of their better try scoring ability.

“The Roosters to burst the Warriors bubble in a brutal way and the Broncos to destroy the Wests Tigers in a rout.

“Anyone else noticed that Manly are back at full strength? The Cowboys are due for a loss. I reckon it might be Monday night.”

Curtis Woodward
Tips: Eels, Storm, Raiders, Knights, Rabbitohs, Warriors, Broncos (Powerplay), Eagles.

“If you need to make a call between Manly and North Queensland on season-long form, you’d obviously have to take the Cowboys. But I saw enough from the Eagles last week to convince me they have a few tricks left in their playbook.

“Also going with the Warriors against the Sydney Roosters on Sunday. It might just be me, but I think the Warriors have a pretty good record against the Roosters at the SFS in day games. I look forward to being corrected.

“My other “shock” tip is Parramatta on Friday night at ANZ Stadium.

“This is about the time of year where we see a couple of teams go all-in and show their hand, the Eels are on a streak and could make it four in a row if they’re desperate enough.”
