The table-topping Broncos hosted the last-placed Wests Tigers on Superhero Sunday at Suncorp Stadium in front of 37,620 fans, the home team showing their marvel in a 42-16 win.

The Broncos opened the scoring through Lachlan Maranta in the 7th minute after Hunt went through a gap before spreading left.
The next try came just 11 minutes later, Andrew McCullough passing to Alex Glenn out of dummy half to stretch the lead to ten points.
Nathan Milone bombed his first try after dropping the ball over the line, Jarrod Wallace going over 2 minutes later after he went through the Wests Tigers line with ease.
Alex Glenn scored his second try after Milford grubbered for the New Zealand backrower on the last tackle.
Jack Reed scored on the siren after Milford passed inside for Boyd who spread the ball to the Sunshine Coast junior, keeping his body from touching the sideline and putting the Broncos 26 points in front at half-time.
Ava Seumanfagai got the ball rolling for the Tigers, scoring in the 45th minute. Wests Tigers scored again just 4 minutes later through Manaia Cherrington.
Mitchell Moses scored being assisted by Tedesco and Naiqama in a full-field effort.
Lachlan Maranta put the game to bed after scoring on the wing with 11 minutes remaining, the winger scored again just 6 minutes later after Corey Oates made a break.
Oates scored himself to secure a big win for the Broncos.

The Wests Tigers will be hunting their first win since Round 14 when they beat South Sydney, with a win over the top of the table Broncos.
This match is shaping up to be huge in terms of determining whether the Tigers can stay alive and play come September, or if they will finish at the bottom of the pile.
With no Robbie Farah the Tigers young side will be tested with Manaia Cherrington and Nathan Milone required to step up and go head-to-head with some of the game’s best in Andrew McCullough and Justin Hodges respectively.
Justin Hodges’ return to centre moves Jordan Kahu to the wing and sees Daniel Vidot drop to an extended five-man bench.
The Tigers have named Tim Simona in place of Delouise Hoeter at centre with Luke Brooks returning at halfback seeing Josh Drinkwater drop out of the squad. Keith Galloway joins an extended bench. Robbie Farah has not been named.
The Broncos and Tigers have met for a total of 23 matches since the joint venture came into the competition in 2000. The Broncos have won the majority of matches, claiming victory on 18 occasions. The Tigers have won just 4, with the only other meeting being a tie.
Their most recent meeting came in Round 11 of 2014 when the Broncos defeated the Tigers 16-14 at Campbelltown Stadium. The Broncos are coming off a win over the Bulldogs 16-8, while Wests had a bye last week.
Prediction:
The Broncos are on top of the table for a reason, and they will show the Tigers why.
