Ronda Rousey has taken the world by storm, the UFC women’s bantamweight champion holds an undefeated professional record and has landed herself multiple Hollywood movie roles.

When Bethe Correia called out Rousey and a fight was set for UFC 190, many believed Rousey would dismantle Corriea with another quick finish.

However, according to Ronda, this will not be the case.

During a UFC Q&A session, Correia said she hopes Rousey doesn’t kill herself after she beats her.

Ronda Rousey’s father committed suicide when she was eight years old, and understandably the champ did not take kindly to the comments.

Correia apologised and claimed she had no knowledge of the incident, but Rousey is not buying it, and says she plans to prolong the beating she will give Correia.

“The fact is in order to get a title shot as quickly as possible, she disrespected my friends, which I consider my family,” Rousey said.

“If you f**k with my family, you are f***ed. It doesn’t matter. This fight is more than just about an athletic competition. It’s about proving a point and punishing someone.”

However, Rousey revealed at the UFC conference call that her own mother was not happy with her plans, and wants her daughter to finish the fight as soon as possible.

“To be honest, my mom is pissed. She doesn’t want me to do it (prolong the fight). She chewed me out and she wants me to end it as quick as possible. I promised her that I am going to be fine and that I am not going to take any damage.

“If it (the fight) goes any longer it’s just because I am punishing her more. I am not going to purposely not finish her if I see an opening, but I can still drag it out and make the finish just a little more thorough.”
