The fifth and final Test of the 2015 Ashes approaches and while the result of the series is a foregone conclusion with England holding an unbeatable 3-1 lead, there’s still plenty of reasons to watch when the Test begins on Thursday August 20 at 8pm (AEST) at The Oval.

Here’s how to get a live stream of the match online, as well as watch it on TV or listen on radio.

The most prominent of all is the chance to farewell two great cricketers in our captain Michael Clarke and opener Chris Rogers, both of whom have announced that they will retire from international cricket at series’ end.

However there’s no need for the test to be a funereal occasion, and the best reason to watch of all is that we may well see some good, exciting cricket played in what’s left of the series. It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve had a thriller made of a dead rubber, after all.

What time is the fifth Test?
The fifth tests begins at 8pm (AEST) on Thursday August 20.

As usual stumps should be expected at around 3am (AEST) but of course the times may be altered due to match circumstances or weather, so keep an eye out for announcements.

TV
As with the first four tests, the entire match will be broadcast live on free-to-air channel GEM.

The broadcast coverage will begin each day at 7:30pm (AEST), half an hour before the first ball is bowled.
