Leicester City are sitting at second place on the Premier League company, one of only four unbeaten teams after two games, alongside Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Leicester City however, have never opened a season in the top division with three victories, meaning history is on Tottenham’s side.

The Hotspurs will be ready to go and must focus on their defence and consistency.

Matty James has sustained a knee injury and will not appear for the Foxes.

Andros Townsend is in doubt with an ankle injury, Lyon signing Clinton N’Jie is on standby.

Last time Leicester and Tottenham met came on Boxing Day 2014 at King Power Stadium where the Spurs defeated the Foxes 2-1.
