Australia’s post-Ashes One Day International campaign kicks off with a match against Ireland at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast.

The match is Australia’s first and only opportunity to test their players against an international opponent before their five-game ODI series and single T20 against England throughout the first two weeks of September.

AUSTRALIA VS IRELAND LIVE SCORES

Australia have made it clear they’re not taking the game lightly, naming a strong squad for the match, including debutant Joe Burns, who is expected to open the batting.

The Australian XI named is: Joe Burns, David Warner, Steve Smith (C), George Bailey, Glenn Maxwell, Shane Watson, Mitch Marsh, Matthew Wade, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Nathan Coulter-Nile.

Here’s how to keep up to speed with all the action from Ireland.

How to watch on TV

It was initially expected that this game would not be broadcast live on television in Australia. However, the good folks over at Fox Sports confirmed mid-week that they had made some room in their schedule and were able to squeeze the game onto Fox Sports 5 (Channel 505).

Unfortunately, there will be no free-to-air broadcast of this match.

How to stream online

For those looking to stream the match (legally, of course), your best option is Foxtel Go or Foxtel Play.

Existing Foxtel customers should have access to Foxtel Go as part of their contract, meaning you just need to download the app and enter your login details to get access to the match on Fox Sports 505.

If you don’t have a Foxtel account, you can sign up for Foxtel Play and stream the match on Fox Sports 505.
