Woosha to the Bombers? Worsfold to give coaching return "more thought"

John Worsfold admits he is coming around to the idea of a return to AFL coaching.

The 2006 West Coast premiership coach will be in hot demand if he decides to make a comeback, with Adelaide and Essendon in the market.

Worsfold, who left the Eagles at the end of the 2013 season, is helping interim Crows coach Scott Camporeale following the death of Phil Walsh.

Coaching great Leigh Matthews said Worsfold would be the ideal mean to take over at the struggling Bombers.

But as recently as the weekend, Worsfold was quoted in the media as saying he was “not intending” to put his hand up for a full-time coaching job.

Now his reluctance appears to be softening.

“There’s no doubt that having been back involved and then seeing how great an environment footy clubs are, that there is some thought there it’s a good place to be,” he told Seven on Wednesday.

“I will give it more thought than I was at the start of the season.
