Loren Rowney has capped the Australian domination of the Trophee d’Or Feminin cycling race, with compatriot and teammate Rachel Neylan claiming the overall title.

Rowney won the final stage of the French race in a bunch sprint.

Neylan finished safely in 17th place to preserve her overall lead and take the race win.

The former Australian champion took the race lead when she won stage three and beat French rider Ewige Pitel by 12 seconds for the title.

Rowney and Neylan were on loan to the Australian development team, who have enjoyed strong form on their European trip.

They took out the teams classification in the four-day, five-stage race.
