Match Preview:

Manchester City are looking to make it four Premier League wins in four games when they host league newcomers Watford. Join The Roar from 12 midnight (AEST) for live scores of this fixture.

City have had the perfect start to the 2015-16 Premier League season, gaining maximum points in all their fixtures after a shaky pre-season.

The Citizens are coming off three dominant wins over West Bromwich Albion, Everton, and most notably a 3-0 whitewash over Chelsea.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men are yet to concede a goal this season, and have scored eight of their own. Furthermore, the squad are dangerous in front of goal no matter who has the ball, with seven different scorers – the only player to have netted twice has been defender Vincent Kompany.

David Silva will be looking to control the midfield in typical fashion, and his link up with Yaya Toure to feed the forwards will give Watford plenty of problems.

With all the attention on AFC Bournemouth last season, Watford were the fairy tale story that no one was talking about.

Watford have found themselves three weeks into a Premier League season mid-table and without a loss.

Despite the positive results, Watford have been lacklustre in front of goal, having only found the net twice, and are coming off two nil-all draws where their chances were all wasted.

Also, after crashing out of the League Cup in their last fixture in a disappointing 1-0 loss to Preston North End, Watford have shown they aren’t clinical in front of goal.

Watford could be in for a long 90 minutes against Manchester City, and holding their line may not be enough to keep the Citizens away from goals.

Prediction
Manchester City 3-0 Watford
