The Greater Sydney Rams will be in complete desperation mode against the North Harbour Rays, having failed to win a single game so far this season.
The Rams came close on two occasions, losing by just a single point against the NSW Country Eagles in Round 1 and against Melbourne Rising in Round 5.
Both losses came down to the Rams poor kicking form.
Despite the improvement, the Rams couldn’t get it done against the Sydney Stars in their last match, suffering a 12-point loss.
A spot in the finals is out of reach for the Rams, they are now playing for pride, and will be working hard to get some points on the ladder before the end of the season.
The North Harbour Rays face a similar problem to the Rams, only managing to win one game all season.
After hard back-to-back games against defending champions Brisbane City and the University of Canberra Vikings, who are undefeated this season, the Rays will be eager to get back in the winners column against the Rams.
The last time the Rams and the Rays locked horns was last season, in a highly entertaining back-and-forth game. The teams ended up playing each other to an astonishing 34-all draw, in a game where the statistics were almost identical.
Both teams will be desperate for a win, so expect another exciting, back-and-forth clash.
Prediction: Rams by 1
Can the Greater Sydney Rams get their first win of the 2015 NRC season, or will the North Harbour Rays keep them winless?
