Can the Green Bay Packers continue their undefeated record or will the San Francisco 49ers stop the Aaron Rodgers-led offense and get their first win since week one? Join The Roar from 7:25am (AEDT) for live coverage.

Last week the 49ers endured a heavy loss at the hands of the Carson Palmer-led Arizona Cardinals, going down 7-47.

It was clear San Francisco struggled, with the franchise only able to come up with one highlight for the game courtesy of former Parramatta Eels star Jarryd Hayne who made a 37-yard punt return to set up a Colin Kaepernick touchdown.

But not many will remember the game for Kaepernick’s touchdown but rather for the star quarterback’s shocking game that saw him throw a career-worst four interceptions, two of his first four resulting in Cardinals touchdowns.

Since their impressive 20-3 week one win over the Vikings, the 49ers’ form has regressed as they have struggled to match it with the Steelers and Cardinals.

Meanwhile at Lambeau Field, the Packers defeated the Chiefs 38-28 in Monday Night Football. With an undefeated start to the season, Green Bay lead the NFC North division and stand alongside the Cardinals, Panthers and Falcons as the only teams with a 3-0 record in the NFC Conference after three weeks.

Last week Aaron Rodgers threw for 333 yards and five touchdowns, including three to wide receiver Randall Cobb. He managed to complete 24 passes from 35 attempts.

The 2004 California Golden Bears graduate also impressed last week leading his side on two successful drives ending in touchdowns during the first quarter. Rodgers also led James Jones to a 27-yard touchdown reception late in the second quarter.

Can the Packers lose? Yes.

But it is rather unlikely. The only problem the Green and Gold face is their six-day turnaround and travel from Brown County to Santa Clara.

Prediction
Packers will continue their charge toward their first title since they defeated the Steelers to win Super Bowl XLV.
