The 2015 season has just ended, but for the 18 AFL clubs planning for 2016 is in full swing.

List management is crucial in today’s game and here are the players each club will want to keep and boot out next season.

Adelaide
I think the biggest name on the move this trade period is Patrick Dangerfield, who is one of the best players in the competition. With that said we all know he is probably going to get to Geelong, but the Crows have every right to get a fair trade.

They can’t let Paddy walk out for nothing in return, but they need to be careful.

Brisbane
Matthew Leuenberger is almost guaranteed to be on the move out of the den this trade period. Looking at the Lions list, they desperately need to keep Leuenberger.

He is a ready made ruckman, which Lions do not have anyone to fill that space if he leaves. Another player we know that it is defiantly leaving the Lions is Jed Adcock. Adcock wanted to keep playing at the Lions but he was delisted, I think that this is a bit of a premature decision.

Carlton
Reports are starting to float around that Tom Bell wants to go home to Queensland. I personally believe that the Blues could get a couple of decent draft picks for this bloke and I hope this is an option which Carlton is looking into. Lachie Henderson has made it clear for months that he wants out. I praise the Blues for not giving him a game in the final weeks of the year. They must show him the door.

Collingwood
The Pies look like to be guaranteed to have Adam Treloar running around with them next year, but reports are circling that Paul Seedsman wants out. They would be stupid to let him go.

Nathan Freeman has also said he wants out. He hasn’t even played a game with the club so let him go. But Nathan Buckley needs to have a serious look at his system if it is making young players want to leave.

Essendon
I don’t even have to name names when it comes to the Bombers. I hope that John Worshfold has the attitude of ‘if they want to go, let them’ when he comes to the club. With everything that has happened with the side recently, the club needs to be built from the ground up.

Fremantle Dockers
The only thing on Freo’s mind right now is, Harley Bennell. Hopefully Ross Lyon can keep him in line.
