Trip To Paris ridden by Tommy Berry has secured fourth place in the 2015 Melbourne Cup.
One of the well-backed runners in the race, he loomed with about 300m to go, but the Ed Dunlop-trained galloper was unable to go with eventual Melbourne Cup winner Prince of Penzance when the whips were cracking.

He was also outsprinted to the post by Max Dynamite and Criterion who passed him late, but he was able to hang on to fourth despite a late charge by Big Orange.
He ran as good a race as he might have hoped to, falling back to the middle of the pack before making his move last.
It was simply a case of too little, too late, as he attempted to track down Prince of Penzance who had made a charge from the group with over 200 metres to run. It was a blistering turn of speed that no one was able to match.
