Update: The AFL has released the final updated draft order that will be taken into the 2015 AFL Draft. The changes are reflected below.
The draft is slated to take place on Tuesday November 24, at the Adelaide Convention Centre in the South Australian capital.
This year the Carlton football club holds the number one pick for what will be the fourth time in eleven years, and is expected to use that selection to secure elite key defender Jacob Weitering.
As usual the draft order has changed a great deal from its original reverse-ladder order, after the busiest trade period in history saw many draft picks change hands.
Essendon, Melbourne and Carlton all have multiple picks inside the top 10 after the trade period, and Carlton have four picks inside the top 20.
While this is the order that will be taken into the draft, the position of various picks may change considerably as bids are made and matched under the new father-son and academy bidding system.
Greater Western Sydney for example will likely have two top ten selections by the end of the draft as they use their later picks to match bids for academy-listed players Jacob Hopper and Matthew Kennedy.
Similarly, Sydney and Brisbane will both convert a host of lower picks into first-round selections to recruit academy-listed players Callum Mills (Sydney) and Eric Hipwood and Ben Keays (Brisbane).

So, keep in mind that the picks your club currently holds may not be the picks they finish with – some picks will be pushed down, and others will be raised up.
