The Patriots are in the driver’s seat to claim the AFC Championship, having recorded an average of 33.6 points per game in nine outings this season.

The Super Bowl champions face some challenges however, with star wide receiver Julian Edelman injured. It’s a major scare for the club, as the Kent State graduate has accounted for 22 per cent of the Patriots’ yards after catches in 2015.

Over the course of his career, Tom Brady has accumulated 24 regular-season victories over the Bills, and thrown for more touchdowns (61) against Buffalo than any other opponent. He has also passed for more than 300 yards on nine occasions when playing the Bills.

After last week’s 22-17 victory over the New York Jets, Rex Ryan will be dreaming of back-to-back AFC East wins as the Bills hope to earn a wildcard.

The key is to improve on their passing rush, as their 2015 season has seen them drop to 29th in the league in sacks, with a paltry 14 after posting a league-high 54 sacks last season.

The Patriots have more wins over Buffalo than any other opponent, at a record of 68-42-1 from 112 meetings between the divisional rivals.

These two teams last met in Week 2, Brady throwing for a massive 466 yards and three touchdowns for the Patriots to defeat the Bills 40-32 in Buffalo.

Prediction
The Patriots are simply too strong and will continue their charge toward back-to-back Super Bowl titles.

Patriots by 14.
