The Perth Wildcats, who are 8-4 and second on the NBL ladder, host the New Zealand Breakers, who are 7-4 and third. This should be a classic, so join The Roar for live updates and scores from 9:15pm (AEST).

Since Corey Webster returned to the Breakers he has them playing as well as any team in the competition – maybe even better.

Leading into this crunch game, New Zealand has won three on the trot, including defeating top-of-the-ladder Melbourne United at home last weekend.

Webster is averaging 25.1 points per game but has found a great partner in crime in Cedric Jackson, who is averaging 11.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 7.8 assists. Thomas Abercrombie is scoring 14.2 points per game, and Charles Jackson has 11.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, so both should also take a bow.

The Breakers have only lost once in the last five games – going down to Melbourne United in controversial circumstances at Hisense Arena – before rebounding with wins against the Wildcats, the Kings and getting revenge against United 80-69.

The Wildcats are coming off a tough Sunday night match at home against the Taipans, the 91-90 victory giving them two wins in a row since losing on the road to the Breakers 80-88 on November 13.

Jermaine Beal has led the Wildcats this season, with 15.1 points a game, supported by big man Nathan Jawai’s 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, and Matthew Knight’s 13.1 points and 9.1 rebounds.

Head-to-head the Breakers have won four of the last five matches between the two.
