Australian Matt Jones has been crowned the 2015 Australian Open champion in an absorbing final day at Rosebury.
Adam Scott and Jordan Spieth showed their class and came home strong in the deciding round, but it was the hometown hero, Jones, who had the big play when it counted.
A sensational bunker shot on 12 for par resurrected the world number 81’s day, who shot a final round 73 to claim the championship – one shot clear of Spieth and Scott.
