Mitchell Pearce’s career is apparently again at the crossroads, with news outlets reporting he has been filmed simulating a “lewd” act on a dog.
The Sydney Roosters captain and on-again off-again NSW half is said to have performed the incident during an Australia Day party, after a woman at the party rebuffed his advances.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting the video also shows Pearce urinating on himself.

The video, which was filmed by another person at the party, is set to be released to the public at 7:30pm.
It’s not the first time Pearce has wound up in trouble on the grog. In 2014 the No.7 was stood down and fined $20,000 by his club, and dropped by State of Origin coach Laurie Daley, for a night out in Kings Cross which ended with him being arrested.

Nor is it the first time a representative NRL player has been caught on camera doing something untoward with a dog, with former Raiders player Joel Monaghan being sacked by his club in 2010 after being photographed performing a sex act with a canine.
More to come.
