For the Adelaide 36ers and the New Zealand Breakers, just four games are left between them and a playoff berth. Who will take a step closer to the postseason? Join The Roar for all the action from 7:30pm (AEDT).

It’s crunch time in the NBL, with 17 rounds completed and just two remaining, and the ladder standings have Adelaide holding down fourth spot, with a two-game difference to the fifth-placed Breakers.

However, working for the Breakers is that this is Adelaide’s final home game of the season, while New Zealand return home for two games before a final-round battle with Melbourne United.

Adelaide will be without the game’s most electric player, Jerome Randle, who seriously injured his knee against Illawarra. While most will be expecting the potential loss of Randle to affect the outcome, Adelaide aren’t a one-trick pony.

New Zealand are coming off a home win against the Crocodiles, and will look to carry that momentum into enemy territory. While it wasn’t an empathic win, it did halt a losing streak.

Adelaide will be aiming to contain the firepower of Corey Webster and stem the impact of Cedric Jackson; if they can quell the impact of these two stars they could just punch their ticket to the playoffs.

Prediction
New Zealand Breakers by 12 points.
