The Golden State Warriors will be expecting an easy win when they go on the road to take on the Phoenix Suns, who are scanning the horizon for the end of a shocking season. Join The Roar for live scores of this match from 1pm (AEDT).

The Warriors have had an incredible season, winning 92.2 per cent of their games, and for the most part totally dominating. That is shown by a difference of 12.6 points per game between their attack and defence.

They have won ten matches in a row, with road wins against the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls, plus ones at home against the San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets.

The Suns meanwhile, have lost nine matches in a row, and 14 of their last 15, lowering them to second last in the west, better only than the Los Angeles Lakers. They sit 34 games back from the Warriors, and for the most part just don’t look like winning.

The teams have already played twice this season, with the Warriors predictably taking both meetings in an absolute canter. The first saw them win by 19 points on the road, before they played at home for a 25-point win.

The problem for the Suns is shutting down the Warriors’ scorers. Even if they get on top of a few, someone else stands up, as evidenced by Klay Thompson’s recent 43.

Prediction
The Warriors don’t look like losing, and the Suns don’t look like winning. This one could be over by the halftime break.
