On Saturday 13 February the St George Illawarra Dragons and the South Sydney Rabbitohs will meet for their annual pre-season Charity Shield match, beginning at 5:30pm AEDT.
South Sydney have retained the shield on the last three occasions running but with a number of key Rabbitohs players missing to instead play in this evening’s All Stars match, the Dragons will enter as the favourites.
There’s a number of different ways to watch the match, whether you’re looking to do so via an online live stream, or watching on TV.

You can live stream the Charity Shield match by using the Foxtel Go or Foxtel Play apps which allow users to stream Foxtel channels.
The Charity Shield match is being televised live via Foxtel on Fox Sports 1, so you can watch it via these apps.
Foxtel Go is available for free if you already have an existing Foxtel service. Foxtel Play is better for those who are just looking to access live-streaming services rather than have a traditional installation.
Foxtel Play starts at a minimum of $25 per month, but is at least $50 per month if including the ‘Sports’ package. A two-week free trial is available for new customers.

The match will be televised live exclusively through Foxtel on channel Fox Sports 1. The match begins at 5:30pm AEDT, however, there will be a half-hour of pre-game coverage beginning at 5:00pm AEDT.
