Watson, who was sold for $2 million in the recent Indian Premier League action, is among the nation’s best T20 players.
The allrounder scored an unbeaten 124 in a Twenty20 international against India at the SCG last month, while he was named the IPL’s MVP in 2008 and 2013.
He was also player of the tournament at the 2012 T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka.
