'Sucked in beautifully': Neale, Lions goaded into two off-ball frees, then tries to win one himself
Things heating up in Canberra!
Here’s some great news for AFL and NRL fans who also happen to be Telstra customers – you now have the chance to access live streaming for your chosen sport absolutely free in 2016.
Simply dial #820# into your Telstra mobile and you will receive a pair of links in a text message from Telstra, one for AFL and one for NRL. Choose which sport you want to access, follow the link, and you’ll have free streaming.
AFL fans will have free access to the AFL Live Pass, which allows users to stream every match of the year to their tablet or phone, along with other major events like the Brownlow Medal or the Draft.
NRL fans will have free access to the NRL Digital Pass, which offers live streaming of every match of the NRL season to phones, tablets and PC, and also includes all the State of Origin matches.
There are a few caveats. Firstly, you need to be on a post-paid mobile plan, the offer is not available to pre-paid customers.
Secondly, you can only gain free access to one of the two options, not both – so choose wisely.
Already signed up for your 2016 pass and annoyed you could’ve gotten it free? Not to worry, Telstra are offering a number of ways for you to be reimbursed.
If you were accessing either on a monthly or weekly basis – and did not sign up through the iPhone or Google Play app stores – simply use this promo and your payments will automatically stop.
If you did sign up through the iPhone or Google Play app stores, you’ll need to cancel your service through those channels. You can then use the promo to get free service.
If you have already purchased a year-long subscription, “you may be entitled to a refund” according to the Telstra offer page – go there for more details.
These service usually cost upwards of $90 so this offer represents a significant saving for sports fans. Enjoy a 2016 of free streaming!
