No one will beat the traditional haka made famous by the All Blacks, but it doesn’t stop people from trying.
The latest cringeworthy haka came from two Russian badminton players at the All England Open doubles final in Birmingham.
To be fair to Vladimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonov they did have a reason to be excited after winning the tournament as unseeded hopefuls.
Still, the haka was a strange choice and continues the obsession with the world’s athletes trying to replicate the war dance even if they completely butcher it.
