The Manly Sea Eagles return home searching for their first win of the season, while the Cronulla Sharks want to build on their 30-2 drubbing of the Dragons last week. Join us from 7pm (AEDT) for live coverage and comments on The Roar.

The Sea Eagles welcome Brett Stewart back, after he missed their first two games of the season with a hamstring complaint. His return sees Tom Trbojevic move back to the wing, with Brayden Wiliame dropping out of the side.

The Sharks’ only change comes with Chris Heighington back into the side at the expense of Joseph Paulo.

The talent of Cronulla’s forwards has been a feature for a number of years now, but since Todd Carney left they have lacked genuine halves options. However James Maloney and Chad Townsend were both solid last week, with a controlled and enterprising kicking game that mesmerised the Dragons.

The contribution of Ben Barba in the opening rounds has also been positive, with a good solo effort last week that was reminiscent of his 2012 form. The Tigers really worried the Sea Eagles on the edges last week with their speed and skill, so Barba and Jack Bird, in particular, could cause plenty of damage.

Manly have had a rocky start to 2016. There was hype at Brookvale with plenty of new recruits coming in, however they look disjointed, having conceded plenty of points while struggling to cross the line themselves.

The Sea Eagles will welcome Stewart’s experience, as well as his support play, which always seems to yield tries at Brookie.

But Trent Barrett’s men really need to get their attitude in defence right to be a chance of winning – it has been the most disappointing aspect of their game to date.

Still, the Sharks have a bad record at Brookvale, with a win rate of just 23 per cent. If the Sea Eagles are to open their account this may be the time to do it.

Prediction
The Sea Eagles have to click eventually, and they have a great record against the Sharks at home. If they get their attitude right early, Manly can come away with this one.

Sea Eagles by 1.
