'Don't they love it': Suncorp goes NUTS as veteran scores sealing try in Broncos return

Brisbane coach Wayne Bennett has declared James Roberts and Jarrod Wallace will both play in Thursday night’s NRL clash with St George Illawarra despite injury concerns.
Centre Roberts has been battling a hip issue and while he moved freely in Wednesday’s final training run at Red Hill, Bennett says he will take his place in the starting line up even he requires a pain-killing injection.
“Anyone who’s played football has had one of those,” Bennett said.
“He may not need that. He’s pretty good.”
Bench forward Wallace spent most of the session receiving treatment on his hamstring but he has also been passed fit to play at Suncorp Stadium.
“He did everything we wanted him to do this morning,” Bennett said.
The Broncos will be seeking a third consecutive win against a struggling Dragons side that was smashed 36-0 by North Queensland in their last start and facing a difficult five-day turnaround.
The Dragons have been in Brisbane all week, having chosen not to return to Sydney after their defeat in Townsville.
“They’ve had a couple of those bad losses but they’ve come back the next week and played pretty well,” Bennett said.
“We’ve just got to be conscious of that and realise they’re a quality footy team that’s probably not playing with a lot of luck and not playing as well as they want to play.”
