2016 A-League Grand Final: Start time, date, TV schedule

The 2016 A-League Grand Final will be played between Adelaide United and the Western Sydney Wanderers at Adelaide Oval on Sunday May 1 at 3:30pm local time, 4pm AEST.

The match will be televised live on Fox Sports 4 (channel 505), with pre-game coverage beginning at 3pm AEST before the match begins at 4pm AEST.

The match will also be broadcast on free-to-air TV via SBS TWO, but on a one-hour delay. Pre-game coverage will begin at 4:30pm AEST before they begin showing the match from 5pm AEST.

The match can be live streamed via the Foxtel Play or Foxtel Go apps, or can be streamed on a one-hour delay via the SBS website.

HOW TO LIVE STREAM THE A-LEAGUE GRAND FINAL

The match will be played between Adelaide United and the Western Sydney Wanderers, who finished first and second respectively on the A-League table ahead of finals.

Both teams then had a bye week before winning their semi-final match-ups, Adelaide United easily accounting for Melbourne City, and the Wanderers winning a thriller against Brisbane Roar.

One of these two sides will win the A-League Grand Final for the first ever time today with both previously unsuccessful in two attempts.

For Adelaide United this is their first appearance since 2009, when they lost to Melbourne Victory. They have also previously appeared in the match in 2007, also losing to Victory.

The Wanderers played back-to-back grand finals in 2013 and 2014 but lost to the Central Coast Mariners and the Brisbane Roar. Today marks the third time in four years that they have played in the grand final.
