Golden State’s Draymond Green has been fined but cleared to play game four of the Western Conference finals by the NBA after dishing out foul play.

Oklahoma City’s Steven Adams was on the receiving end of a boot to the groin during their win over Golden State. Adams went down in pain after defending Green with 5:57 remaining in the second quarter.

Green was fined $A35,000 for the flagrant two foul, which would have resulted in an automatic ejection had officials given it that ruling when it happened.

Thunder believed the dirty act on the New Zealand-born player was intentional, but Green and the Warriors coach Steve Kerr believed the flagrant would be rescinded by the league.
